Comments:
I love the moment when the whole band comes in on "Smooth" by Santana off the supernatural CD, it comes in after "black
magic woman". Not to mention Chucks slide guitar playing on songs like little red rooster. If you have been to one of our shows you know
what I'm talking about. It just makes you want to move your feet. When it looks like your having fun WE have just that much more... John Lennon said, "there's nothing you can do that can't be done, "But I say it ain't what you do, it's how you do it." considering there are only 12 different notes (in the western scale anyway) the variety and scope that has been achieved is mind-boggling, within them. I believe that we all are innovators, and each of us has something unique to offer to our band. I have heard it said if you want to be a good artist it's helpful to associate with good artists...Bob Holderman, our key borad player who steps into uncharted territory. The same for our drummer Dave Millan A/K/A Lil Ricky, he is a drummer's drummer dazzling you with his performance. Our bass player Marc Kopchak warrants our attention holding the bottom end. These artists spent many years consciously working towards what they do best. Committed to the band and to the music, 99% won't do we got to have a 100.

Blues music is one of this country's richest traditions. along with jazz, it is counted among America's few truly original art forms. From its inception in the American South during the first decade of the 20th century, to it's comtemporary  expression in the blues-laden sounds of modern rock music, the blues has fostered many common ties with other forms of popular music. The first blues songs were based on the field hollers, work songs, and spirituals from the Mississippi Delta area. The guitar and harmonica provided portable instrumental accompaniment to blues singers throughout the South. however, the voice was the original instrument, capable of techniques such as vibrato and pitch bending that many instruments could not easily reproduce.

The earliest blues guitar players tried to imitate these vocal effects by using pieces of metal or glass bottlenecks to fret notes. This enabled them to slide between pitches, and thus produce some voice-like sounds. This technique was then imitated by players who, not knowing that a slide was being used, resorted to bending the strings to achieve the same results. Soon, string-bending became a common way for players to produce notes between the fixed picthes at fret positions. This technique, combined with hammerons  pull offs, and slurs , provided many new paths of emotional expression for the electric guitarist. As a rule, blues traditions and techniques were passed on from player to player. As blues evolved, and musicians migrated northward toward Chicago, our music reached the ears of successive generations of players, who added their own techniques to this vibrant musical genre.

We got some great things happening with the help from GOD
